Revelation 5:13 | KJV | 10/4/2019 |
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Chosen
1 Peter 2: 9-10
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of him who called you out of the darkness into His marvelous light, who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy”.
Thank you lord for calling my name, and choosing me. You have to make this personal, God is talking to us he loves us so much. Remember how he went to cross for us and gave his life. Predestined, we are chosen by him. My hallelujah belongs to him.

Devotional:
This is what God told the people of Israel through the prophet Hosea. The people went to the temple and offered sacrifices, but their hearts weren’t in it. They just went through the motions and did what they thought they were supposed to do, but it didn’t mean anything to them. They weren’t giving their sacrifices for the right reasons. They did it out of routine and because they felt they had to.

But, worship isn’t about what you do. It’s about Who God is. Worship starts in the heart.
Have you ever found yourself in the same place as the Israelites - just going through the motions when it comes to worship? Has your worship become routine? Do you do it because you feel like you have to? Or, do you worship from a heart-felt place to give thanks to God, tell him he’s awesome, and focus on him?
Verse of the day: Hosea 6:4-6 KJV
4. O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.goodness: or, mercy, or, kindness
5. Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.and…: or, that thy judgments might be, etc.
6. For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
